Alright it says that I have 4 years and 11 months to reinstate my score. But what about my first question? Its not answered there. If my score is poorer than that of my previous attempt, can I still reinstate the score of the previous attempt or that option is not available anymore once you retake the test?

The rules applies to all the attempts taken post January 1st, 2014.
So if this previous attempt which you want to reinstate is post that
date, it should be okay.

When you open mba.com(you will get all your previous attempts)
and you could reinstate which attempt you want to!

hey everyone quick question.

Suppose I cancel the scores on the test day and decide to retake the. But if I score even lower in my retake, can I still reinstate the score of my previous attempt and have the new score cancelled?

The reason I am asking is that it is not answered in GMAC's FAQ. I even emailed GMAC but haven't received any response.

Plus how long do I have to reinstate my test score. I took the GMAT on 17th November and I cancelled the score at the test center.

Yes, you can reinstate your score up to 4 years and 11 months of the exam date. You should have no problems in cancelling the new score while you reinstate the previous one.

Hi there

I have the same question as the one in this post. I took the test 3 months ago and didn’t accept the score, I took it today again and had a lower score, so I didn’t accept it.
Can I reinstate the first score?

Thanks

Quoted from the mba.com website:

Any valid GMAT exam taken on or after January 1, 2014 will be eligible for reinstatement. Going forward, cancelled scores can be reinstated up to 4 years and 11 months of the exam date.
To reinstate a canceled score, login to your MBA.com account or call the customer service number for your region (page 1 of the GMAT Handbook). The fee to reinstate a cancelled score is $50 (additional $10 fee will apply if reinstated by phone).

Hi did you receive confirmation email after paying for the reinstatement fee? I only received payment confirmation. How long did it take to reinstate the score eventually?
