Hello,
I took the GMAT 3rd time and got a 660 (quant-49, verbal-31).
My initial attempts were:
1st attempt GMAT 610 and
2nd attempt 620.
However, I feel that I did not prepare well the 1st two times. Also, before my 3rd attempt, I was getting 690 and 700 in GMAT prep and Manhattan tests. I was very confident of getting 690'ish in the real GMAT But to my disappointment I got a 660.

1] I am a married woman with Indian citizenship but currently residing in Redmond,WA.
2] I have a Computer Engineering background with 67% in BE, the topper that year got around 85% so I think GPA will be calculated accordingly.
3] 3.5 years of work experience in 2 different IT and Telecommunication companies, received awards of excellence in each of the 2 companies.
4] Ongoing experience in NGO with crucial roles.
I wish to get into Consulting esp Strategy or Technology Consulting after I complete my Masters.
My first preference is to get into a good ranked, accredited Business school and pursue 2 year Full Time MBA course. Preferably, the location of the school should be in the US West Coast or somewhere in and around Chicago.
Also, I wish to apply to good MIS courses that promise good future prospects after graduation.
1] Could you please advise me at least 3 ambitious, 3 reachable and 3 sure bets for MBA courses ?
2] Also, which MIS courses or MSIS courses do you advise me to apply for which is within my reach?
3] How do you compare and rank CMU MIS, Kelly MIS course, Mays MIS and UW MSIS course for me esp which ones are safe bet for me?
Your reply is most solicited since the deadlines of a few schools are around Nov 15th.
Please help and oblige.
Thanking in anticipation!
Regards,
PTM
