The American programs are typically focused on applicants with around 4-6 years of work experience, so your 11 years may make securing a spot more difficult: these programs feel you are too mature to be in a classroom with a bunch of 26-28 year olds and will not fit in well because of that. I recommend - to hedge your bets on those American programs - to also consider EMBA programs, full-time Sloan Master's programs, and/or European programs like INSEAD, ESADE, IMD, or HEC Paris, which are more open to older students.
