Academics (My biggest worry)
I have a 3.2 GPA in my undergraduate degree. Due to health reasons I had some challenges during undergraduation and unfortunately my academic graph shows downward trend. In my first year I was in top 10-15% but from second year onwards it just dips down.
Extra-Curriculars
Toastmasters competent communicator
Involved with local library administration
Request your advice on my chances to these programs and any particular aspects I can work on to improve my chances. I really want to complete my MBA in 2012.
The accelerated programs only make good options if you are planning to stay in the same industry or join a family business in which you have connections: changing careers is considered too difficult without an internship. If you are planning a career change, be sure to demonstrate why it makes a good fit and how you will break into the industry.
I am concerned about both your GMAT and your GPA, so I recommend retaking the GMAT and possibly building an alternate transcript if you have time. Finally, at 30 you will need to prove that you fit into the class and will learn from classmates several years younger than you. These are the challenges you need to address in your applications, but if you do that well, I do feel you stand a chance at the programs you listed.
