A lot of it comes down to this:
What makes you more dynamic and/or different than the hordes of other math-oriented Asian dudes in finance applying to b-school? Remember that given what you wrote right now, on the surface you fall a little too neatly into Asian male conventions (at least those who apply to bschool) that you risk getting lost in the shuffle.
There's nothing wrong with being conventional, but you need to show that you are more than that. That is what will make or break you for the top 16 schools, especially those in the top 8 where there's going to be a boatload of people who are just as analytical as you.
In your case, it's clear you can run numbers better than most people. But what isn't apparent is whether you can work in teams - are you the kind of guy who people want on their team? In class, are you going to be that wallflower who keeps his head down, or will you be an active participant? Given that you have a strong quant background, will you have trouble with more open ended situations and discussions? This is your main challenge, and what you'll have to focus on in the applications.
