I know my GMAT score is avg, and the absence of extra-curricular is bad too. UC Berkeley is my 1st preference. If my current profile isn't good enough for that, and I need to re-take the GMAT, how much improvement should I aim for? Anything else I can improve on?
With one of the lowest acceptance rates- Haas is a tough school to get into. So a GMAT improvement to get in 720+ range would help. I would also look at some schools like Cornell, Michigan State, UNLV, Va Tech and also Univ. of Central Florida. All these programs are excellent in hospitality and this article may also help you choose some excellent options for your goals: https://www.thebestschools.org/rankings/ ... -programs/ Also, are there any top US B-Schools that are known for specializations towards the hospitality industry (like HEC Paris)?
Thanks for going through the long post!
