Indian Male (25)
I have 55% in Undergraduation in Electronics Engineering India
I got (triple A+ i.e. 76%) and overall 2:1 with honours in Masters in Computer Science from U.K. University of Hertfordshire.
When i apply for MBA will they consider my undergraduation or Masters from U.K.
Q1.
Will my high score in Masters mitigate my low undergraduation score or do the MBA admissions team only consider Undergraduation scores.Q2.Also i wanted to ask this particular question.
I am from a
non Finance, Strategy consulting background so since i am doing a shift, i am planning on taking up a 1yr diploma or mba in Finance, Consulting as Distance education from a London based or Indian University like IGNOU, IibmIndia
before applying to B schools like Duke, Haas, Ross, Tepper, Cornell, Kellog, NYU for 2011.
The reason i want to do this is because i want to get good GPA when i do my MBA in the above schools. Also iam assuming my enthusiasm and dedication could be shown in reality as i will be half way through the diploma in Finance, Consulting by dec and the admissions team could be interested in seeing how i do and offer a bargain like if i do well wityh good score then they will accept? I am just contemplating, as i felt doing a diploma before taking up full time MBA will help me understand the depth and difficulty of the full time course and it might help me with my application as well.
Will my motive be looked in a positive sense or not by the admissions team?.Brief Profile.
