GMAT Club Members:
I have written a number of white papers and guides on the admissions process that are available for download (free).
They are available for download here: https://www.amerasiaconsulting.com/mba_resources/
They include the following topics: While I have been on these forums for while I wanted to reintroduce myself to those just jumping onto the GMAT Club bandwagon:I received an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2004 and a BS in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in Flint, MI. Currently I am the Principal of the Amerasia Consulting Group, a boutique MBA admissions consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, New Delhi and Hong Kong. AACG specializes in placing clients with backgrounds in financial services, management and IT consulting at MBA programs globally. I also started up the largest pre-MBA group in the Los Angeles area, the Los Angeles MBA Admissions Workshop. I remain involved with UCLA Anderson as a lecturer for their pre-MBA Riordan Programs. Through these organizations, I hope to bring my eight years of admissions consulting, experiences as an interviewer for the UCLA Anderson admissions committee and my knowledge gained as a GMAT instructor to those seeking to gain entrance to top MBA programs.
Prior to these current roles, I spent nine years in various finance, operational, and managerial roles at Veritas Prep, Revolution Prep, Kaplan, KPMG Consulting, Countrywide Financial and the Ford Motor Company. At Veritas Prep, I served as the Vice President of Operations with oversight responsibility for all GMAT prep instructors and MBA admissions consultants. As the Director of Revolution Prep’s TutorSource division, I managed the launch of a new online marketplace for tutoring services. With KPMG Consulting (later BearingPoint Consulting), I served as a Senior Consultant in the company’s Financial Services group. Prior to business school, I worked as a manufacturing line manager in one of Ford Motor Company’s largest assembly/test factories in the Detroit, Michigan area.
I hope this provides some context around my experiences. I welcome any and all questions.
