Center Name : Exxcom Education
City & Country : Brisbane, Australia
Parking facility : Nope, its in the middle of CBD. Take a train. The station is just a 5 min walk.
Invigilator Reviews : Mixed. There were two ladies there. The first one was a little mean. And she gave me one of those sheets to work on and one non working pen. So while I was writing my AWA I had to go out to get another one (my time was still running). And once my quant started I couldn't be bothered going out and looking for her so I just kept erasing on my own. then while I was 3/4ths into the quant section another guy came in to write the test and the really nice lady came in. She gave me like 7 sheets. Which were enough.
Environment : Alright. The keyboards are VERY noisy. And there are people writing all sorts of tests there. So people come and go. But it wasn't too noisy.
Rating: 2.5/5

Having said this, I don't think I was heavily disadvantaged. I got a 730 (Q49, V41). I might've done slightly better on the quant had I not spent so much time erasing. But I think its a decent reflection of my abilities so I don't have much to complain about.

For anyone who takes a test there. My friend took the GMAT 7 days before me and was given extra sheets by the nice invigilator. I suggest you ask for extra sheets early on.

Cheers!

You didn't by any chance erase with the small orange stuff like I did because they turned out to be earplugs ! I suffered the same lack of sheets issue the first time I tried it and the pen was dry so i erased with the earplugs (didn't know they were such back then!) Next time I GMATed I brought my own pen and rubber(then one for white board) but the lady there told me that I wasn't supposed to erase the sheets to start with, they never provide erasers and If i needed more space all i had to do was ask .. and thats when i figured out that I erased with earplugs  thank god she didn't remember me :P

Center Name : New Horizons Computer Learning Center
City & Country : Sharq, Kuwait
Parking facility : Plenty. Cheap basement parking and free open parking if you can tolerate th 50 degrees heat
Invigilator Reviews : Polite and friendly but a bit noisy.
Environment : Aside from the noise from the staff chatting outside it was quiet. The test centre fits 8 people but there were 4 people there on average (Working day) and they provided earplugs but I didn't need to use them.
Rating 5/5 : 4

haha no I didn't use the earplugs (I wasn't given any to begin with). I just used my fingers and the sleeves of my shirt.

Invigilator Reviews : Friendly & helpful, didn't experience any problems
Environment : Test area was maintained in silence, waiting area was spacious enough; no complaints
Rating 5/5 : 5.0
Additional Info : There is adequate lockers and a water cooler inside. Plenty of space to keep your in-break snacks

Center Name : Pearson VUE Wacker Drive (??)
City & Country : Chicago, IL, USA (Wacker Dr. location)
Parking facility : N/A (walked)
Invigilator Reviews : Very nice and accommodating. Helpful. Quick.
Environment : Testing center itself was not bad, fairly quiet, no real complaints. A bunch of construction on the lobby level of the building made it a pain to get into the building, but ended up not being a real problem.
Rating 5/5 : 4/5
Additional Info : Construction on lobby level. Have to walk around to the south entrance and buzz in (at least I did -- it was a Saturday).

Center Name : Pearson Professional Centers-Paris
City & Country : Paris, France
Parking facility : Absent, but actually not needed - take a Vlib! ;)
Invigilator Reviews : Correct, nothing to mention
Environment : Some noise coming from the street, but earplugs (which are provided) do what is necessary
Rating 5/5 : 4/5
Additional Info : No earphones, so get ready to use earplugs (or how do you call it..), Small room containing 7-8 workstations, The workstations are Dell, but the screen is placed too high, that was a problem for me.
Debrief Link : 740-q48-v44-not-bad-for-a-human-100954.html
Do's & Don't s : Only one restroom, so the first thing you should do when you go for a break is to go to the toilet if it is empty.

Center Name : Pearson Vue , Newark
City & Country : Newark, Delaware, USA
Parking facility : available
Invigilator Reviews : Polite, ok efficient
Environment : I found it very good. Not much noise.
Rating 5/5 : 4.5
Additional Info : toilet is about a minute away so look at it before the exam. I asked for the additional notebook and lady was very slow. I have to attempt 4-6 math questions with virtually no space left to write on. They do not have good time keeping mechanism for breaks. (I am not sure how it happens in another centers)
Debrief Link :
Do's & Don't s : Look at the center a week before. It is little hidden inside the big building.

Center Name : Pearson Vue
City & Country : Mumbai, India
Parking facility : Big problem No parking facility on site. I had to park my car in a nearby hotel
Invigilator Reviews : Very Helpful,Polite.
Environment : Quiet.
Rating 5/5 : 4/5 (cut one mark for parking problems)
Additional Info : There will be a Cabin to the side numbered 12 A. Request for another seat. The cabin has bright lights and it was difficult for me to view the already messed up font family of the GMAC testing software

So she only "cost" you 20 points?
You must have very good concentration. :)

I had a slightly worse case on my gmat, the girl/lad next to me (she was young, early twenties) was taking a test as well. Not sure which one but took a bit for me to focus. Lucky for me, she paid zero attention to me :)

For the record : I had no distracting females at my centre ... I wish ! There were only dudes, no scope (or interest) for conversation in the test breaks :d

Center Name: Pearson Professional Centres
City & Country: Toronto, Canada
Parking facility: N/A (used public transit)
Invigilator Reviews: Very personable and responsive
Environment: Uncomfortably warm and stuffy inside the testing room. Earplugs and headphones are provided. The computers are Dell, but there isn't much space between the case and the desk forcing you to move the keyboard around (annoying on AWA, but otherwise no need for KB)
Rating: 2/5
Additional Info: You are provided with 2 pens and 1 booklet. They will not let you have more than one booklet so remember to swap out at each interval.

City & Country : NY, USA
Parking facility : Used public transport. There's a station right outside the building.
Invigilator Reviews : Overall nice.
Environment : Good
Rating 5/5 :4.5
Additional Info : Earplugs were not provided and neither did I ask. Computer and room was comfortable. 1 booklet and 2 pens given. For the Verbal section, I asked for a second booklet and was given one.The restroom is outside the testing facility but inside the building; a walk down the hall way
Debrief Link : N.A.
Do's & Don't s : I think the Penn plaza center has more choice in test time and date . My center has most tests starting at 8 AM. Pretty crowded and noisy on Sat at the 8 am slot.

Seattle area:

Renton: 4/5

Friendly faculty, great parking, not too hard to find. One time coming back into the test it took them a bit because there were a few of us trying to get in, but I got there before my 8 minutes were up.

Seattle/Northgate: 2/5

This testing center is twice as big as most. They have two big rooms, instead of one like I have seen before. Luckily I was taking a Kaplan practice test, because after one break they took a long time to get me back in, and I was a couple minutes late getting back to the test. When I took the real thing the first time I went here and did not do so well. The snarky guy that handed me my test score said, well you can get into WSU with that score (not a competitive school) and I felt like punching him. Given the size of the testing facility there is a greater possibility that you could have trouble getting back in within the 8 minutes BUT if you come during a time that is not that busy you will be able to get in and out super easy since it is so big.
