vaio,

If you have no extracurricular leadership since college, that's a problem. Also, the medical/pharma background is a positive in terms of standing out from the crowd, but you will want to work hard to show the people-leadership experiences and showing them that you are savvy about the business world. Giving them defined and well-thought-out goals is one way to do that. Michigan seems like a long shot for you in multiple respects.

Hope this helps,

Sorry for the delayed reply. Congrats on the interview invite. Study Accepted.com's database of responses from applicants interviewed at Michigan. It contains many of the actual questions Michigan asks: https://www.accepted.com/mba/interviews/ ... earch.aspx

Thank you for your help!!

The interview was ealry this week and it went well, but not great!!! I expected more business like than informal interview, i guess i had/have a misconception of the grandiosness of the Bschool Interview.

Or may be its just the school!! But i am not able to compare as this was the only one that i had gone to.

I wasn't impressed, but i was not excited to begin with. As I prepared a so-so application with a so-so score and still manage to get a interview call.

May be its easier to get in than i thought it would be. And may be PT is easier to getin than FT. But if the adcom uses the same evaluation criteria then its shouldnt that be easier, right?

Confused....and Unimpressed.

Or may be its just me.

Getting in part-time programs is generally easier than getting into full-time. Sorry you weren't impressed. With a GMAT like yours you should frankly be grateful for the interview opportunity, and if they admit you, you should say yes. IMO of course.

Good luck,
