Congratulations! though this does mean that internationals based in the US are most likely considered domestic.

We need a few more data points, but you are most probably right. Although just to play devil's advocate, maybe they called him tonight to make sure all American citizens were notified by the 13th.

I agree with you that we need more data points. But as you said earlier, there is no need for us to speculate. Let's just wait and see.

American based in Asia. Got the call less than an hour ago. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
congruts!!! Does this mean someone is making calls at 10pm EST? Interesting.

Yes. I spoke with Admissions, who were calling from Ann Arbor at that time.

I think their idea was not to split people by nationality or US/non-US people, but by the ability to attend admission events in the US, so it doesn't matter whether you are US citizen or international in the US, your address you put in the application is the only thing that mattered. I am not sure I am right, but it is what I think. So, if you put your contacts outside US -you will be considered international, I suppose.

there is only one US citizen who got the call yesterday. one cld speculate that he put in his contact details, foreign address. either way, this is a pain  . today is day three of pain....if someone cld hv defined what 'US domestic candidate' means i cld hv avoided an extra two days of misery... :x

I have looked at the thread history (p17-20), when the R1 admit calls went, they called Asia in the evening Asia time. I suppose, they will call by time zones today, Asia applicants will be probably one of the first to know

Hi guys. I listed my mailing address as in Korea. I got the call around 10:30AM in Seoul, which would have been 9:30PM in Ann Arbor.
