Do they decline from waitlist throughout the process too? Or is it that once you're waitlisted, the only possible outcomes are acceptance or continuing to be on waitlist (until end of summer, when presumably you are effectively declined).
I would like the answer to this question too. I would figure that it is feasible for a WL to be converted into a ding. Soojin said in the past, acceptance is based on what you can bring to the class. If you are WLd, means there are other applicants with the same profile as you, and unless those people with the same file as you who were accepted decline to matriculate, there is no way a spot can be created for you, hence a WL can be converted into a ding on May 15. No no, do not hyperventilate. This analysis is pure speculation only!
