I would like the answer to this question too. I would figure that it is feasible for a WL to be converted into a ding. Soojin said in the past, acceptance is based on what you can bring to the class. Yes, they do decline from the wait list. Throughout the entire process and especially now (3rd round). Many of us are on the wait list from previous rounds waiting to see what we looked like (fit) with the entire class. Tomorrow most of the wait list will get released (declined admission).

Got my admit call yesterday. However, a scholarship on top of in-state tuition at UT (Texas) is going to be too hard to pass up.

So should be good news for someone on the waitlist when I decline.

Got the call! WL-R2, Indian working in the US. Unfortunately, I have used up my six years of H1B and its going to be tricky to attend Ross knowing that I am ineligible for employment after the MBA. Will have to decide in 24 hours between Ross or Oxford.
