I think you only get the email if your status changed. If you stayed on the waitlist, I don't think that you would have received anything.

Just got the ding email too after being R2 WL'd. Don't want to be too Mr. Brightside, but agree w BKane that it's nice to finally have some clarity on where I'll be in the fall. Good luck to everyone still sweating out the WL, jealous of everyone that got the admit, enjoy your time in AA! Hit up the patio at Dominic's for me!

R2 WL here...didn't get any emails today but just logged into the system and my decision still says "We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to be on our waitlist for the Michigan Ross Full-time MBA Program Class of 2015." Aka nothing changed for me, thankfully I suppose. I wonder how many people will remain on the WL after today? The long wait continues with this and the McCombs wait list. Just wanted to share that I confirmed with admissions that all updates have taken place, so if you have not heard and you are on the WL, you will remain on the WL for the summer.
