What percentage of interviewed applicants are accepted?

A high percentage, maybe 70%. I don’t know off the top of my head. Well, we try to interview people who are going to be wait listed as well so we get those assessments in advance. Those in round one who get waitlisted may stack up higher against those applicants in round two. So it’s nice to have already completed the interview.

has anyone heard about the class size? I know last year they dropped to 450 from 505.

You're high on both ends, but yes, the class size is down.

Class of 2014 is ~480
Class of 2015 is ~420

I did based on what I know (didn't look up class sizes).

Avg section size in my class is 80, six sections -> 480
announcement from the dean's office last year class size was going down by ~60 students: ~420.

I'll look though my emails and post anything else I find on the matter.

Business formal is a must whether you're interviewing at Ross or another school. Suit and tie is the way to go.

Cool - figured as much but wanted to make sure. First on-campus interview so wasn't sure what the norm was. Appreciate the response.

Does Ross waitlist fresh candidates without interview ? Otherwise all who did not get an invite on Oct 21 are as good as ding'ed, right ?

I'm in a very similar boat as you are; I wasn't interviewed last year though. Hoping for the best in December for both of us!

You are probably right. I am a fresh candidate, and I did not get an interview invite. That means I am as good as dinged (Ross is not interested to know more about me)

Kudos

Just got done with my Skype interview. Surprisingly short, only 30 minutes including my time to ask questions, so only a handful of issues were addressed.

One unexpected zinger "Sell the undergraduate school you attended" ie. convince me to attend the school you attended for undergrad. Lucky for me, it happens to be UMich! I think they were looking at how convincing/passionate you are about the institutions you are associated with.

Really, really nice interviewer, 2nd year student. Fun to talk to, and I think representative of the Ross community. If anyone has questions about skype interviews, let me know, I've done about 4 of them.
