Just to keep myself entertained for the next couple weeks... does anyone know the approximate percentage of applicants that Ross interviews, and then the percentage of interviewed applicants that get accepted?

I am just going to say it -- the subject line of their latest email, "Decision Notification | Stephen M. Ross School of Business," made my heart jump out of my chest. I thought I was in for an early surprise!!! Nope. But good that they are reminding me to wait until December 20...

Anyone else nearly have a heart attack?

I wasnt invited for the interview but still received this email. Confused :/



My guess is that it went out to everyone, meaning you will be receiving a decision (admitted, wait-listed, denied) no matter what on that date.

I actually had to call the number in the email (the email address provided didn't work) and ask for help. I would suggest you do the same!

I had the same reaction!

The uniqname is basically your school email and user name. I went to Michigan for undergrad so that is the only way I knew. I am surprised they would create one for all applicants and release decisions that way

yea i had to call them as well.
i still dont get it ..when i log in it says its for matriculated students only

Go to the "New and Prospective Students" link (second form the top of the Student Business Page). The email is wrong.

I called them up and was asked to set up "Friend Account" to create a log in with my own mail ID and use the same to access the notification through Wolverine Access.

Hi, I am a round2 applicant and curious about word limit of essays such as why ross?
Should one adhere to word limit? Is it ok to exceed word limit by 8-10%

10% is the often quoted limit. I would not exceed 165 words on these essays, and would much rather be in a 15x range. 165 and under is acceptable, though.

Remember more words doesn't always mean a better essay.

I had a question on the Ross interview- Once invited for an interview, how critical does the interview become in the overall decision-making? Does it become i) the Only criteria ii) the most critical criteria OR iii) just a part of the overall application package?

My guess is iii), but anyone who has a different perspective of it?
