Hi - I just took the GMAT and was hoping to get your thoughts on which schools to apply to for round 2 this year. A few facts:

GPA & Degree: 3.9+, Accounting (also have a Master's of Accounting with a 3.9+ GPA), both from a large state school
GMAT: 730 (IR-8, Q-47, V-44)
Work Experience: Tax Manager with a big 4 firm (5 years experience). Broad experience managing people, tax compliance/consulting engagements, and financial statement audits. Also involved as a firm instructor and recruiter. Promoted early to manager.

I'm looking to recruit for an IB associate position at a BB from an MBA program. Would you mind providing your thoughts as to which schools make sense given my stats and goals? Any interesting points that couldn't easily be found on the internet would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Any interesting points that couldn't easily be found on the internet would be appreciated. For I-Banking, look to schools in major financial markets so NYU and Columbia come to mind- both sending lots to I Banking still. Also Wharton, Booth, and then if you want to look at some programs where you may present well enough to get some significant funding look at UNC Kenan-Flagler (has a great capital markets lab and good opportunities for experiential learning), Owen, Emory, potentially also Fuqua and Darden also. Ask yourself where you hope to land long term- if east coast then give stronger stock to east coast schools- and if you prefer west then look to schools more on west coast. Chicago also a big finance city. I think overall you can present well- and if you'd like to strategize further- or have us help you develop the strongest profile you can- then please reach out to us at this link for a free consult: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... b-visitor/

Thanks in advance.
