Would you like to give me a piece of advice about a few safety schools for a PhD (or MBA, I suppose the rankings are just as all the same) in finance, please?

A "safety school" is a relative thing. One man's (or woman's) safety school can be another's long-shot. So without knowing your profile I can't help you much. That said, for candidates who are competitive at top 10 schools, the following strong finance schools can often make good backups:
--Rochester
--Duke
--Ohio State
--Cornell
--Indiana
--Florida

-Italian male, 25 years old
-Management and Production engineering (3 years degree - the analogous of a Bachelor degree), GPA 4.0/4.0
-Management, Economics And Industrial Engineer - Finance Specialization (2 years degree- The analogous of a MSc in Finance), GPA 4.0/4.0
-GMAT 770 (Q50, V45)
-Little working experience as a consultant (e-finance strategic consulting)
-1 scientific article under review at an international journal
I would like to apply for a PhD in finance in one Ultra-Elite schools... but I think to include some safety schools (as those you suggested) in my "portfolio" is a wise decision.
