HI,
I am an indian student and my profile is as follows:
High school :10th-91 %(a merit rank holder in 10th)
12th :87 % (a state rank of 184 in state level engineering entrance exam) (i don't know if high school info is relevant or not but it might be the only achievement of my life :P)
Graduation: Chemical Engineer- 60% (may be equivalent to GPA of 3.0.. though i am not sure) from UDCT, Mumbai (one of the reputed institutes for chemical engineering in india)
Work exp by NOV-12: 2.5 yrs (In a refinery, job profile: technical)
Extra curricular: nothing worth mentioning
GMAT: 700

i want to apply for 2013 admits. I am currently planning to apply to b-schools ranked 30 and below... can anyone suggest some b-schools for my profile? am I applying to very high ranked schools for my profile ?

Hi, your application is viewed in totality for GMAT score, academic capability, career progression and achievements and any extra curricular involvements.
Though you have a decent GMAT score, I hope you are able to show some good achievements at work.

Your academic achievement at high school sounds too old if not backed up with similar recognitions in college.

That sounds alright. You can also wait another year or two, build up your work history a little and them apply for the MBA.
