i was pretty naive when i wrote my screenname - i seriously thought i could pull a 800.. hahahaha

ridiculous! i ended up with a 670..

if i had rhyme's verbal, i could have got an 800 :)

Well, at least you were brave... I was so scared prior to sitting for GMAT that I would have nicknamed myself: please give at least a 650 and I promise I'll give up all sins.

Oasis is really your favorite band?@!?!??!

I have been a fan since Live Forever was released in 1994....

Seen them in concert 7 times, bought every single, every album etc.

awesome!..I love Oasis.... one of my favorite bands of all time...

For one of my essay questions (georgia tech), I was asked to name four people I would invite to a dinner party and why......yup......I invited Noel Gallager (an absolutely incredible and gifted songwriter). I also invited Stevia Ray Vaughn, Hendrix, and James Taylor..they all shaped my abilities as a musician and songwriter..

I'm a huge guitar geek...been playing since I was 10... I play a lot of acoustic shows around town w/ friends.. I always sneak in a couple of oasis covers...

talk tonight..
go let it out
slide away..
the masterplan..
live forever.
Aquiece (spelling?).. love this song!!.. (i always loved it when noel / liam exchanged vocal duties)

My screen name 'Amorica' is derived from my favorite band, The Black Crowes. Its the name of their 3rd album..

Its nice to meet another fan - Oasis fan's have always been rare in the US.

Did you see the Crow's and Oasis when they toured together?

Great choices of cover songs by the way, and I agree - when Noel and Liam split vocal duties it is awesome. I wish they would do it a little more often.

I wish I did.. but they never came anywhere near me.. (I live in birmingham, alabama).. it was strange..they didn't even play in atlanta..which is only a couple of hours from me..

As soon as I can devote more time to my music, I'll try posting some links on this board for ya'll to check it out..peace..

Everyone around (including myself) thought he was dead... it was certainly a bloody scene.
I am sure that you guys can probably imagine how I felt about the whole situation.
Fortunately, he recovered. But I still owe him a lot.
(i thought about using this on my essays.... but decided not to)

And there is another meaning to my ID.
More personal and dramatic (at least I think so).
I will share this some other time.

Wow. I like what your story says about values. How many people would have just stood by and let you get hit. That is true herosim. Quite amazing!
