Hey All,
Just gave my second GMAT attempt at the center, first was enhanced online 5-6 days ago - debrief's here:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/enhanced-gma ... l#p2791252Scored the exact same lol. xD
Didn't study much last few days. Took 2 days off after my GMAT, and in the remaining 3.5 days I did 5 GMATClub Quant papers (got 1 51, 3 50s and 1 49), and did the sample LSAT paper on their website. Revised my select
error log from before, and practised some Verbal on GMATClub as well. The
GMATClub tests are honestly very representative of the harder questions on the exam, a lot more than GMATPrep and OG imo.
The overall center experience was great, no issues with checkin or noise. There was just one other person giving with me, though I started 20 mins before her. The internet randomly went off and they had to restart during quant, but I lost no time and that had no effect on my score. However, the exam was preponed to 6am due to lockdown restrictions, and this may have had an effect. Last two weeks I took off from work and have been waking up at 1pm, and gave my online (5 days ago) at 10pm. So, I was effectively on a reverse cycle. Yesterday I did try to fix my routine, and wake up at 9am so I'm forced to sleep early. Ended up sleeping at 9pm and woke up at 2am and simply couldn't sleep again. I was heavily caffeinated (4 double espresso shots by the end) but felt a bit off throughout, specially during Quant (I give it second). May have played a role, but it is what it is, I'm happy with my score and not giving GMAT again!
Overall, in comparison to Enhanced Online, I feel the paper was definitely easier at the start, but similar in difficulty towards the end. In V, I found the RCs fairly simple and SCs also fine, but a few difficult CRs. In Q, started off great but towards the middle part I think I became super slow. Had to double check a lot, etc. Will get the ESR later and attach it here, as I'm curious of my V breakup and number of errors. ESRs should be included in the exam's price lol, I can't get closure without it if getting it is an option.
My theory is that the center is easier but with tighter marking, whereas online is harder but with easier marking. That way, the percentiles likely balance out. Of course, there's no way to verify till we get Online ESRs.
Either way, I'm finally done with GMAT!

Once again, thanks for all your help! I'll stick around the forum and help out a bit. Tomorrow or day after, I'll collect my thoughts, and write some general tips and guidance based on my experience.
Do you think I should cancel my offline score? The IR's lower @7 vs 8 online, but the essay will likely be higher - I got 5 on the online, but didn't complete it, while this time I wrote more and finished. Sending online score to colleges is also free...
