Hi guys,
I happened to submit my application for Kellogg at Jan/07/00:01 Central time (talk about procrastination..
) which is 2 minutes past the official deadline,
only to find out that I put in a wrong school name in the contents for the additional info.
Am I being pushed back to round 3? (or not even considered because I'm an International Applicant?)
How will the wrong name in essay which is not the main essay but an additional info, affect the decisions of the adcomms? Will my file go straight to 'denied'?
If not, should I address this issue to the adcomm by email or phone? Or should I just wait and see what happens?
Appreciate your insight on this in advance.

I honestly don't know what Round they will put you in. You'd probably have to contact the school to find out. I bet that they'll give you a break and count it as Round 2, but I don't kow for sure.
Regarding the error, I would send them a letter apologzing and explaining what happened. You definitely want to show them that you care enough to fix it!

I received a confirmation from Kellogg on receiving my application materials today, but not sure whether it means they will consider it as a round 2 application. It seems there are quite a few who have missed the deadline by seconds, and some schools overlook a few seconds/1 minute delay..but I'm not completely confident about Kellogg.
As for the wrong school name, I will send out an apology note about the error.
