Should I apply in Fall 2018?

Question

I graduated from a top 5 USNWR institution in 2016 with a good GPA and have a 730 on the GMAT. I'm currently at a reasonably prestigious consulting firm and would have two great recommendations from two former business school professors I work with. But I'm struggling because at the application period, I would only have two years of work experience (though I work about 50-60 hours a week); if I wait a year, I would have three when applying and four when entering.

You could apply this year, but next year would probably be safer. Is there a reason you are aiming for this year? Do you think you have the requisite amount of interpersonal experiences, results, and impact to stand out? I would probably recommending waiting a year and spending that year focus on making sure everything is perfect for next year, especially if you are just starting your apps now it is a bit late in the game.

I think my post was misread - given my background, I'm debating between Fall 2018 and Fall 2019  to apply . How should I evaluate? Fall 2018 would be about 27 months since I graduated from college.

Yes apologies i think i did misread it. I would say aim for 2019. That would give a better opportunity to ensure some strong results and impact to complement the rest of your strong profile. You don’t want the shadow or question mark of immaturity hanging over your head unnecessarily
