Thank you in advance for your advice. Could you please help me decide whether i should apply in round 3 to Duke (Fuqua) full-time MBA program?
I am a 26yr old male Indian IT (in financial domain)
WE = 6 yrs at matriculation, strong acads, GMAT 770, average extra curricular.
I am looking for a post MBS career in Management Consulting/General Management field in the US. I have submitted round 2 applications to Darden (Interviewed), Ross Michigan (Interviewed), Haas (Nothing yet) and Tuck (Nothing yet). I am regretting not applying to Fuqua in round 2. I am seriously considering applying to Fuqua in round 3 but am quite skeptical as to the prospects of an international applicant getting in in the last round. The outlook of receiving a merit scholarship also will be extremely unlikely in the last round although Fuqua is known to be generous with merit-based grants. Can you please advise if I should try my luck or will it be a waste of time and money to try round 3 at Fuqua? Again, thanks for your valued advice.
Based on your GMAT, I don't believe it would be a waste of time for you to apply R3 to
Duke. I can't comment on the competitiveness of other aspects of your qualifications. I also can't comment, on the likelihood of scholarship money round 3. I know it will be less likely, but I am not sure it will be -0-.
Best,
Linda
