Hi all,
Had my exam today and I was able to score 760. But my main concern is awa and IR. In my awa essay I made around 10-15 spelling mistakes. AWA content may worth around 4.5-5 without mistakes( Had a bad experience with gmat proctor. During essay I was tapping my legs and times reading my essay. So he broke my flow as he wanted to see my room couple of times. Didn’t have time to correct my essay) and had bad IR score too was 4. Open to all suggestions.

Bachelor in Information technology- osmania university 76%
Master in computer science - UT arlington 3.36 gpa
3+ years of experience in IT field as developer and data scientist(all my experience had been in us)

Hi. Congrats on your 760! That's an awesome score!
Taking into consideration that none of the business schools publish their average IR or AWA scores, it should not be a big issue. This also has been discussed a number of times... You can watch this video about IR and AWA. I would also potentially address the proctor challenges in an optional essay and avoid retaking.

Hi Raserestien,
First off, a 760 is an outstanding Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. Since many Business Schools have publicly stated that they don't use the IR score as part of the application review process, you likely have nothing to worry about there. In addition, most Programs would be satisfied as long as your AWA is a 4.0 or higher - so you likely don't have a problem there either. If you are interested in what a specific School/Program thinks about either of those Scores, then you should research that School directly (you might also consider contacting the School to ask). This is all meant to say that a retest is not necessary. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:
