What is your country of origin? If you are a U.S. domestic applicant what is your quantitative/verbal split? How had you been doing on your practice exams?

I ask several questions because if you had scored lower than 80% on your GMAT exam and had been doing better on your practice exams then you might wish to retake the GMAT given the average GMAT on most Top 5 to 15 schools are above 700. Also, even though the AWA is usually not factored a 3.0 is low enough that schools might weigh this as well.
