Cover Letter Please prepare a cover letter (up to 500 words) seeking a place in the MIT Sloan MBA program. Your letter should describe your accomplishments, address any extenuating circumstances that may apply to your application, and conform to standard business correspondence. Resume Please prepare a business resume that includes your employment history in reverse chronological order, with titles, dates, and whether you worked part-time or full-time. Your educational record should also be in reverse chronological order and should indicate dates of attendance and degree(s) earned. Other information appropriate to a business resume is welcomed and encouraged. The resume should not be more than one page in length (up to 50 lines). 3. Essays We are interested in learning more about how you work, think, and act. For each essay, please provide a brief overview of the situation followed by a detailed description of your response. Please limit the experiences you discuss to those which have occurred in the past three years. In each of the essays, please describe in detail what you thought, felt, said, and did. Essay 1: Please describe a time when you had to convince a person or a group of your idea. (500 words or fewer, limited to one page) Essay 2: Please describe a time when you overcame a personal setback. (500 words or fewer, limited to one page) Supplemental Information (Optional) The Admissions Committee invites you to share anything else you would like us or your future classmates to know about you. Letters of Recommendation MBA applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. Professional recommendations are preferred from individuals who are able to speak with certainty about your professional achievements and potential. Recommenders must submit recommendations online. We do not accept mailed recommendations. Recommendations may be in either letter or short answer format and should not exceed two pages each. Please choose recommenders who are able to provide specific answers to the following questions: How long and in what capacity have you known the applicant? Any discrepancy between the scanned transcripts and official transcripts may result in a rejection in our decision or a withdrawal of our offer of admission. 6. Test Scores The GMAT or GRE is required of all applicants and must be taken before submitting your application. Once your online application is submitted, we will not allow replacement of your test scores. Only tests taken after September 1, 2008 will be considered. Anybody inquire w admissions regarding the WL? Guessing next week will be the earliest for a shakeup, but it could be a few weeks...

On person in the Sloan wait list forum was accepted off of the wait list. Has anyone else heard anything, acceptances, rejections?

I am able to login to their application url. But it gives me a blank page. It doesn't give me any link/button to enter my details. Did anyone faced this issue?

I was on the WL and and got an invitation to interview. I don't know the outcome yet but I did not send in any additional references or supplemental information. Good luck to all still waiting.

Did you already interview? When did they ask you to interview? Did they say anything about the wait list?

I interviewed early last week and was invited late during the week before. It was not a long wait time between the invite and interview. Basically I was told that they were working through the waiting list to fill more slots.

Poseidon, I see that you are listed as matriculating to Sloan. Did they ask you to interview, then you interviewed and then they offered you admission?

Yes, everything happened really quickly. I was a 2nd round applicant and got waitlisted in early March. I didn't submit any updates but received an email from Admissions at the end of May inviting me to interview the following week. I flew to Boston, interviewed, and got my decision this week.
