Good luck everyone!

Hi,

Is it true that all the interview slots in Mumbai have been taken ? Does this mean no more R1 interview invites would be sent to those who opted for off campus interview in Mumbai ?

Thanks,

Anyone from NYC get an interview yet? Also are they interviewing here or would it be on-campus?

Got an invite on monday to interview in Santiago. Two dates offered and about half the slots taken when I signed up. I hope this helps.

Congrats!! When is your interview in London? Is London really the closest interview location to you? (I would have thought Paris to be closer ;) )

I don't understand the obsession with spots remaining. Perhaps I'm being naive, but why would adcom decide how many people to interview in a location before evaluating all of the applications? If they like what they see over the next week, surely they would add more spots.

You're assuming they haven't already picked the invitees and are distributing the invites solely to fit into their available spots... It's really a question of seeing the glass as half full or half empty...

If they've already picked all the invitees, why don't they send out all the invites? or is that not what you are saying.

Not idea how the hell this process works, but for sure it's driving most of us crazy...

Any news today guys?? According to patterns today's invitation should have been sent already

That's exactly what I'm saying! Maybe they know the invitees and are just doing this maddening process to best address their interviewer's time... Bus as luisoc1985 replied, we will never really know.

Hold on.

Best,

Has anyone experienced a delay between when the application updates and when the email is sent? For example, many Booth invites were visible on the application but emails were never sent. I want to know how many pages I need to be refreshing! Thanks.

The email invitation, when you get it, contains a link to an interview signup that is independent of your application page. I was invited last week and my application status is the same as it ever was ("complete/under review" or something similar). It is not like Chicago's system where you can log in and check periodically. Hope that helps.

That's very helpful, thanks. Was it addressed from Hobson or whatever? I've got both Hobson and MIT in my contacts.
