I am curious how long people spent on their apps. I feel I spent way too long

I spent probably 30 hours (not incl. 5 months of GMAT prep) on Stanford. I actually spent (in retrospect) too little on What matters essay. I spent most of my time on the last two essays. I was not interviewed but I am sure is mostly due to my undergrad GPA, oh well. I spent about the same on HBS and Wharton but was interviewed at both.
those who are still waiting to find out, here's the deal. if your recommender listing on the online app is no longer visible and your app status is now submitted, you're in. Otherwise you are not. except if you are on the waitlist of course.

While I think what you say is true, I just hope you are wrong...I am still positive!! I hope they just haven't changed that status for me as they haven't called me!! ARGH! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE HERE!!!

I feel you buddy. I am really hoping that I am wrong too.
Stanford is indeed a strange school. Given my unique background (I come from and had all my education in west africa) and number of reviews I had of my application by people connected to stanford, I thought my worst would be to at least get an interview invite.......I am sure a lot of us are wondering exactly what this school is REALLY looking for given the amount of time we spent on the application
That's a ding at Stanford and Booth. Have competitive stats, so I definitely need to work on execution. Disappointing though as I felt I had put together some solid App's. Probably going to consider having a consultant at least edit my R2 essays.
Also time to set my sights on the Top 15, instead of the Top 5.
Same boat. March decision, wow that is a long time to wait. See it as a rejection and plan accordingly, if it comes in as an admit later then even more power to us.
