For the sake of sharing back with the community, I got the call exactly 12 hours ago, (Middle East applicant). Sorry for not sharing earlier but I had an annoying day at work and it is still going on actually... To be specific, I got 2 calls from DB: one from the standard +1-650 and the other one from some weird number +343 (the connection was bad on the first call) There are a couple of events coming up: one in Istanbul, one in Saudi Arabia, one in London (april 7th) and the admit weekend (28-29th) For all those who got in, I cannot wait to spend the upcoming 2 years with you! shamba, michanchou, and sanderc7 - when you log into your account right now, are the list of recommenders missing and the status says submitted? just trying to get a sense for if this should have changed for everyone who is going to get in, or they change it progressively throughout the day. basically, do folks who statuses have not changed still have a chance of getting a call...? thank you.

Yes, my status says "submitted," and the recommender names are gone. I don't know when it changed, but it was definitely before I received the call.

Agree with sanderc7, though I don't know whether it was changed before I got the call. I'd say if they're gone, you're in. If they're not, then maybe - it's clear they don't remove all admits recommenders at the same time... Not sure you can read much into the recs still being there... sanderc7, sounds like Derrick called you right after me! Congrats!

Seems as though they havent done the account changes all at once though (?). My theory was that they updated accounts by time zone or something once they got to it for the calls. Maybe i'm just holding on to any last hopes here? Is there anyone on the west coast that has an account change? thanks
