Hi there! Do you think Stanford will call the waitlisted students in case of positive decision (just like the regular applicants)?
Did anybody get an email asking to update their location?

On the WL from round 1 and did not get an email asking for a location update. Last contact was the survey they sent out in February. Good luck to all!

Yeah. Just wondering how much I should read into the timeliness and enthusiasm in the responses I've gotten when I've reached out.

Don't know, but I wouldn't drill on it
I'm an admitted student to Wharton MBA, and I needed to contact the adcoms re decision deadline. I received the response ~1week late (after the decision deadline :-D )

Hi eka27, same here, also Wharton admit and GSB waitlist. Do you mind sharing what you asked GSB and what was their responses?
I am thinking to ask if they can release the decision earlier as we need to enroll Wharton by 1 May. Is that what you was asking too?

Hi there! I only contacted Wharton, never contacted Stanford
I was admitted in R1. I meant that the fact that Wharton was slow in responding to my emails even though I am an admitted student probably just means that they are low on capacity

Re your question on early decision: I think it won't hurt trying; however, the FAQ list states that Stanford doesn't provide early decision
I just accepted my Wharton place almost immediately, knowing that I risk my USD2k :-)

Will you accept Stanford if you're off the waitlist, is it worth risk 2k?

I will accept the Stanford offer, no doubt here. In my view, Stanford is worth it!

At the same time, I will also go to Wharton if not accepted to Stanford (i.e. I won't wait till next year to re-apply)
2k is not little; however, when you compare it vs the overall cost of the program it's not that much

Hi guys, I have a quick question. For those waitlisted in R1, to whom did you address the letter of continued interest?
