Stern v/s Darden v/s Ross

Question

Hi,

I have been admitted to Stern, Ross and Darden (No $$ anywhere). I am confused as to which school to pick. I am hoping to get into product management but want to keep IB option open as well. School prestige and access to high prestige employers is important to me.

I'd be curious to hear what others say but me personally I haven't really looked into Stern and Darden but know Ross sends a decent chunk of graduates into brand/product management every year and is generally in a top 10 for international business. Might help if you have a more specific end goal in mind? Such as location, a couple specific employers, etc.. For example back to Ross they send a lot of people to tech (and a good amount as product managers to Google and Amazon). Whereas Stern is going to have way more access to companies in New England (not to say they don't for West Coast but just sheer proximity).

Sorry I can't help more I really only know about Ross but just as a general GMAT clubb opinion my vote (as someone interested in brand management with international exposure) is Ross.

stern has the most prestige so i'd go there unless you don't want to spend two years in NYC

I believe Darden has the best general management program and I would definitely choose there among your options.
However, Stern is probably a better option for IB, but I would still go with Darden if IB isn't your top career preference.

Close between Darden and Stern -- both offer good general management programs and both are well-known in IB placement.

Thanks Everyone! I am definitely leaning towards Stern since I already live in NYC. I am also curious about international brand of the schools. I am an international and may have to/want to move at some point to Canada/Europe/Asia. Product Management is my primary focus right now but Ross just doesn't seem so strong to me overall as a school. Yes, they do send more people to amazon but they are less selective than the other two schools and place a lot of people in big 4 consulting. I am already in big 4 consulting and have no desire to go back to a big 4 whatsoever.
