It should be B.
In A, no clear referend of They.
In D, wrong use of Due to (should explain action)

It is B.

A.they can incorrectly refers to stories
B. "airlines" correctly refers to the actual doer.
C. Again ambiguous
D. Due to is wrong usage
E.in that is wrong usage
