I haven't heard of StoryCrafters Consulting myself, so I can't comment on the quality of their services. I also wouldn't put too much weight on a single online review, whether it's positive or negative.

My general rule of thumb is to work with an admissions consultant who has at least 10–15 years of experience and, ideally, comes recommended by someone you personally know who used them successfully during their admissions process. Personal referrals tend to be much more reliable than a sparse online review history.

I worked with them this past year. I got into 5 schools, including Wharton, Haas, and Tuck (and received many merit scholarships). I worked with Adam and Joel and they were both amazing. While Joel heads the company and provides a central vision and oversight, most of your time will be spent with a consultant like Adam who helps find, refine, and convey your story. It’s an intensive program and my experience with Adam was professional, pleasant, and even enlightening.
