Hi!
I took the GMAT about two weeks ago and scored a 680 (Q47, V36), and have already scheduled to retake it in a month in the hopes of significantly boosting my verbal score and marginally boosting my quant score -- ideally a Q49 and a V44 or above. I am a native english speaker and have already worked through the manhattan strategy guides and the OG book, although I still have plenty of problems I haven't done that I plan to use in this next month of prep.
My question is what would be the best course of action to take moving forward in terms of prep courses/schedules? And has anyone been in this position and successfully achieved such a huge score boost? Luckily I have the ability to push the test date back slightly if needed, but am really hoping I can be prepared since this is the only thing I have to focus on right now. I've always done very well on the verbal portion of standardized tests in the past, so maybe I just didn't focus on verbal enough, but any advice would be appreciated.

First of all, my suggestion would be to identify your weak areas and work on those area. You can do so by taking few more mock exams. Once you do that focus on those areas.
With a Q47, I think you can definitely improve that to a Q50. Practice quants by understanding and applying the concepts
With a Q50, you will need Q42 to get a 760. Again focusing and improving on your weak areas will definitely help you achieve your target score.
Regarding prep courses if you already have one there is no need to get another one. If not then taking one may help. Do refer to the gmat club reviews for various prep courses before you decide to buy one
