Hey
Are you someone who needs calm nerves before test or do you prefer to jog your mind a bit before tests normally?
This changes the way to take test. In case you need to calm, take a few deep breaths before starting the exam and tell yourself you can do it. In case you need to jog your mind keep one of the difficult questions you solved ready and just solve it mentally.

Few tips which helped me during my attempt -

  • Practice mindfulness or meditation daily for a couple of weeks before the test. This helps calm your mind and improves focus in front of the screen.
  • Do light exercise or go for a jog to keep yourself relaxed and distract from overthinking.
  • Start with a warm-up by solving a few easy questions before the test to ease anxiety.
  • If testing at a center, arrive with plenty of time to complete formalities so you are not stressed about delays.
  • Do not obsess over the clock. Keep only a rough sense of time remaining instead of continuously chasing it.
  • Ignore mind games by the algorithm. Do not overthink why you are getting an easy or tough question, focus only on solving the one in front of you.
  • Drop tough questions quickly. If a question feels overwhelming, do not let ego keep you stuck, move on.
  • Adopt a resilient mindset: “I will do my best. The test will throw tough questions, but I will not be distracted and will focus on what I know to get right.”

Hi!

Absolutely, managing stress on test day is crucial. Here are a few tips that have worked for many:

Plan Ahead: Make sure everything you need for the test is ready the night before. Minimizing last-minute stress helps a lot.

Practice Relaxation Techniques: Deep breathing, meditation, or even a few minutes of stretching in the morning can calm your nerves.

Positive Mindset: Instead of thinking “I hope I don’t fail,” try reframing it as “I’m prepared, and I’ll do my best.” Visualizing success can boost confidence.

Breaks and Nutrition: Eat a balanced meal, stay hydrated, and take short breaks during your prep to avoid burnout.

Focus on the Present: Don’t dwell on past mistakes or imagine worst-case scenarios. Concentrate on each question as it comes.
