Hi @bb. Need your guidance. I am falling behind the study plan big time while trying to complete the homework for Quant, RC and CR. Week 1 is not yet completed. Please help.
Same here. I really need to cover more on Sunday. Hopefully I don’t fall back for Round 2 big time. Essays are a daunting task if done simultaneously.

I do your homework

P.S. Not sure what I can help with except to tell you to use your time better and smarter.
What do you use your best time for? Have you made sacrifices of your schedule? Changed the time you get up? Perhaps go to bed earlier and get up earlier? If not, then you are not committing the resources you need to commit to get above the 90% of other test-takers (that's 700). So it is not about who is smarter. It is about about who is able to use their resources (same courses/questions as everyone else, same human brain, same math rules, etc). How do you beat the 99% of other test takers to get 760 or 95% to get 730? You have to realize that to perform at that level and really OUTDO everyone else, you really have to do something extraordinary. Looking lost is not going to help. You have to realize that everything you do has to be done better than anyone else does.

Hi bb,
Random question: will I be able to take EA with Gmat prep? (Regardless, will take Gmat, thinking about just in case situations) 😵‍💫

Hi. I am not familiar with the Khan Academy’s resource personally but looking at the description it sounds like it would work. Obviously LSAT has more than just critical reasoning, so you’ll have to skip some sections of it, but the course apparently does contain quite a few questions, supposedly equivalent of 40 tests, so that’s quite a few questions and they’re free, so I think it would be pretty resourceful to use them. It doesn’t matter which tests you really use since all of them are official and high-quality. I’m sure people will have preferences for which time frames and tests. They find more less favorable but without having gone through a single question on Kent Academy, it looks worthwhile. It would be great if you can report back about your findings. It would be very valuable for the rest of us. 👍👍👍

Darn. I keep thinking the email goes out on Thur. Sorry guys. This is my bad. I really thought I had the rest of the day to fix it. The issue is that the new weeks are published each week and we need to update the email (which by default is Week 1). Somehow my head thinks it is due on Thur and I have all Wed to do it. This is now 2 weeks in a row my head thinks this. Any tips how to fix this? 🤷‍♂️

And it looks like week 3 has not been published yet, so perhaps I am not the only one who lost their mind

Guess there’s no better way to say it - it’s week 3 on the study plan, but I’ve just started with week 1. One point I’ve observed is that the planner focusses on problem deep-dive from day 1 - just wanted to check up before I start with it.Context - I know the very basics, but I’ve been having a hard time to actually start my preparation (in the sense that I’m orbiting around the syllabus and the formulae since a month at least)

In a Kaplan diagnostic, I scored a 540 the first time. The second time, I thought to take it untimed, and got a 650 - I need to do better with timed sets, but I’m just not getting that confidence to move into practice questions. Whenever I get question wrong, my first instinct is go back to basics - and hence a loop

Here is the thing - you either know the basics (and don’t make mistakes) OR you don’t and you do make mistakes. Sometimes you make careless mistakes, but you could also work on improving those.…

I joined this group yesterday. I wanted to check with which LSAT books are you referring for GMAT exams. I went through the link of LSAT books, there are too many options. I am just getting confused in selecting the right one.
