Hello,

I recently submitted an application for a Masters in Management program. I have taken the GMAT twice, but cancelled the score the second time around. The school is asking for a .pdf version of the test taker's "Official Score Report" - which of course shows the cancelled score, though I have already submitted the school's version of the Official Score Report. I have tried through the GMAT website, but there is no way to get a previous version of the test taker's copy (i.e. the one without my second, cancelled, attempt). Should this be a something to be worried about? After how many attempts and cancelled scores is taking the test multiple times seen as a detriment - especially if the first score is the only one to keep? How much do schools read into this?

Thanks!
IR

Hi IR,

I've had the same doubt, but I ended up submitting my official score report with my cancelled scores.

I believe this will not have much influence, some schools even asked how many times I've taken the test including cancelled scores.

Good luck!

Best,
GJ

This should not have much if any impact on things. The GMAC allows you to cancel scores for a reason. The schools tend to focus on the highest score. Now if you've taken the test 4 or 5 that raises more of a red flag, but given you only took the test twice, you should be all good here

redfield what was your highest score and in what order did you achieve your highest score? If it was still strong it is lesser of a deal but they will still double take
