Hello,
I am a senior in college graduating this December. I have accepted a full-time job offer that is a 2-year rotation program. I hope to attend a business school after I complete the program in 2026. Because I am graduating in December and will have a whole semester off before I start my job, I figured it would be a good idea to study for/take the GMAT during the spring since I will have the time. My first question is whether or not this seems like a good MBA plan. My second question is if I take the test this spring and choose to send my score to 5 schools, will the schools still have my scores by the time I apply for the 2026-2027 school year? Thank you!

Absolutely, taking the GMAT during your semester off is a smart move. It's a great idea to get it out of the way now, so you can focus solely on your job and later, on crafting killer applications for business school. Plus, tackling the GMAT without the added pressure of work commitments can really work in your favor.
Just a heads-up, though – while your plan is solid, keep in mind that some business schools prefer applicants to have a bit more than two years of work experience. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to consider when you're looking at different programs.
