I have given the enhanced online GMAT twice. I faced no issue in the first attempt but the second attempt was a complete disaster. My appointment for the second attempt was at 3 pm IST on 13th August 2021, but due to some technical issue, the proctor couldn't start the exam for 30 minutes. After repeated failed attempts, when the exam finally began I had to wait for 15-20 seconds after clicking on an option for the option to be selected. Then, I had to wait another 15-20 seconds while pressing the next button, and even after this, I had to wait for 25-30 seconds to confirm my selection in the dialog box. All this while, the timer was still running and thus I ended up wasting about 1.5 minutes per question. After struggling for about 35 minutes in the verbal section, I was only able to attempt 10 questions. Thus, I asked the proctor to cancel the exam for these reasons. Now, I have emailed GMAC on "
[email protected]" but even after 8 days, I haven't received any response. I even talked to customer care at Examity, but they asked me to contact GMAC for this issue. On the website, I did not get a score(obviously) instead, I got an error code, namely "EC - technical error". Also, internet speed couldn't have been an issue as I was using a wired LAN connection with a bandwidth of 100 Mbps.
Did somebody else face such an issue? If yes, did you get a retake or at least a refund from GMAC?
EDIT:
13 days after contacting mba.com on "
[email protected]" I got a response. They have allowed me to book another online GMAT that too for free! So, for anyone who might have faced such an issue contact mba.com on this email, they may take some time but in the end they do resolve the matter.
