The Board of Trustees of the Federici Art Museum has decided to sell some works from its collection in order to raise the funds necessary to refurbish its galleries. Although this may seem like a drastic remedy, the curator had long maintained that among the paintings that the late Ms. Federici collected for the museum were several unsuccessful immature works by Renoir and Cezanne that should be sold because they are of inferior quality and so add nothing to the overall quality of the museum’s collection. Hence, the board’s action will not detract from the museum’s collection.

cocnlusion says museum will not loose anything of value! but what if paintings are not sold and something of value is ? or what if paintings and something of value is sold?? GAME OVER.

Idea of 2 groups/personnel are being considered -
1. Board of Trustees of the Federici Art Museum - To sell some of the collection
2. Curator of the museum - Some paintings collected by F. were unsuccessful and needed to be sold.
So, for the plan to be successful ( Selling some art work & Selling those art collection having insignificant value to the museum) must concur, if one of the idea deviates then the plan will not be successful.
None but (B) aptly points out the same elegently, hence Answer must be (B)
