exigencies is plaural, so eliminate A, D, E. B is past tense, no need.

So (C).

exigencies is plural, we are left with B or C.
the statement made is timeless. The assumption made on "Drama exigencies" stands for past / present / future

C responds to that.

I would go for C.

D looks ok but for has( had it been "have", I would have gone for it)
