Exigencies of dramatic art is a plural subject

(A) makes the foreshortening of dramatized historical events inevitable -makes singular, so incorrect
(B) made dramatized historical events inevitably foreshortened - meaning and tense error,
(C) make the foreshortening of dramatized historical events inevitable- corrects SV error, and correct the meaning
(D) has inevitably foreshortened dramatized historical events - use of has incorrect and distortion of meaning
(E) inevitably foreshortens dramatized historical events , sv error and inevitably foreshortens is incorrect, modifier error
