does anybody have the standard laptop requirements for LBS? As far as I know, they send these after the positive admission decision but I really need to buy a new laptop now and don't want to miss out on the specs, no matter if I am lucky or not with the LBS application.

In terms of power, the latest line of Intel i3/i5/i7 mobile processors was just released, so if you stick to those, I'm sure you will be set at whatever business school you go to.
Evening guys, I was wondering if anyone from UK, AUS, NZ had received the details of his/her interviewer from the Admission Team or not yet. I for one am still waiting... and certainly looking forward !
Nothing yet... with the deadline on 8 Mar... guess we still have time

well if you think about it guys, being notified of your interviewers late means you would do the interview late, and closer to the mar 8 deadline so you don't have to wait much long for mar 26.
i hope we all get in, and be classmates, and run around london, and party all night. oh and yes, study together.

And more time to prep too... although I'm getting sick of prepping!

haha sounds like an excellent plan. Isn't that what doing an MBA is all about anyway?

Hi friends,
I am in London and nothing yet for me too. The wait is not bad as it gives less time biting the nails after interview
Since they try to match students with your background/industry/sector, it takes a while to get an alumni nearby your location. So hang on tight, the details should be coming any time soon.
Wish you all luck and hope that we would meet soon in the campus to celebrate.
In London and received my interviewer's details. It says I have until the 12th. It gives you the person's name, e-mail, title, employer, and year of graduation.
I did some internet sleuthing and it's scary to find that the interviewer and I have a lot in common. We went to rival universities in the same city in the US and similar degrees. I'm a management consultant and have worked on one case for a client and the interviewer worked for the competitor for the majority of his career. I hope I'm not expected to be an expert in that industry! Intimidating, but I'm looking forward to it...!
I wonder who I will be matched with for my interviewer. I have two wildly different professions that could be used to match me with and interviewer. I'm guessing it will be someone with experience in my more traditional work experience. I'm excited ...
I'm just hoping they'll have an alumni here in Houston. I really don't want to travel far for the interview... especially during the week. At my job, I only have 2 weeks vacation and 6 holidays. No personal or sick days. :-/
