Hi Avatar,
Yes I'm the same guy from PG.
The Survival Guide was on Page 21 or 22, I'm not sure which.. it was posted in response to a living expenses query made to bsd_lover and prashok by vgeri I think. The link is online. It pertains to CO 2010 or CO 2011, but its extremely helpful. This guide is given to admits to familiarize themselves with London and the ins and outs of settling down in London with the school etc.
It has some really good info for my purposes since I'm going to interview in India with an alumnus.
If you want to connect to prep for the i/v, we could do so by exchanging apps and testing each other. Would help me since you're similarly experienced.
Thanks and Best of Luck in your admissions endeavor,
Pranay

Doc, bsd, Thanks a million for the debriefs!
Thanks for the reply, Doc. Where we're going, there are no roads (sorry, couldnt help slipping that in :D)
@LUGO, sorry my friend, I'm not from the Eastern bloc.. I'm from India - do erstwhile Eastern bloc sympathisers get included in LBS's supposed largesse?
Well, I did interview with ISB, and I am pretty clear on my goals. As opposed to the ISB interview where I felt like a pre-schooler sitting before a stern headmaster, and had to spell the word "J A G U A R" to get into Kindergarten, I think the LBS interview will be a far more mature and i daresay, a more enjoyable experience on the whole.
With over 10 and a half years of experience, and a LOT of travel internationally, and working with both local and international business partners, I do have a lot to talk about.
I'm also pretty focussed about my career goals, Why MBA and Why LBS. The survival guide that was posted on this forum ages and ages ago, really helped me formulate my questions.
I'm sure I have a lot to talk about even beyond my essays that would make for interesting conversation.
I wonder who they'll pair me up with here in Mumbai...
Best,
Pranay
Hi Pranay,
Congrats for the invite and wish you all the best for the interview.
Would you mind sharing about the survival guide and what it is about? I am very clear about why LBS, why MBA and why now. But anything that could give another dimension doesn't harm. Let me know if it is worth sharing with everyone on the forum.
I am assuming you are the same person on PG, who has more than 10 years of entrepreneurial experience. I share pretty much same background. LBS has been my dream school and the motive behind my relocation to London.
Thanks and wish you best of luck
