got an interview invite.
GMAT score 700 (V: 38 , Q : 47) , Indian/ 25yr/F
Education: Doctor of medicine and surgery from top medical college of India.
Work Experience : For last 2.5yrs I have switched on to entrepreneurship.
Earlier, while pursuing my medical internship, I was pretty active in Research work, have papers published, a patent pending: maybe thats why the GMAT didnt matter much.
Also have pretty strong extra Cs and plenty of community service (that was my job and somehow I have been consistent in it all through)

I have plenty of extra Cs too, but in my undergraduate transcripts instead :roll:

I got a followup email from a member of the admissions committee giving me the contacts of my interviewer in my city and left it to us to arrange a mutually agreeable time.

Congrats on your invite bac2school!

My interviewer replied with a choice of times within a few hours. We will most probably be doing it a week from now.

Since the interviewer needs to provide feedback by the 29th of Nov, I guess there's about enough time. I would probably wait for another day or 2 and then contact the adcom contact if the interviewer still doesnt reply. But this is just my personal opinion. Maybe some people who have already been through the process might have a better idea.

I emailed my contact on Tues, no reply yet. Will give it until tomorrow afternoon or so and follow up with a phone call to the contact's number gleaned through google. If no response to that then adcom contact time. Still enough time so not sweating all that much yet.

Where can we find more information on the short presentation? Are the topics available anywhere?

Topics are not available that wouldn't make it an impromptu presentation otherwise :-)

Over the past years heard of topics such as:

- What are the advantages and disadvantages of a UN passport that allows people around the world to move freely?
- Are you in favor of breaking patents for medicine in developing countries?
- Are you in favor of globalization?
- An employer sacked its store keeper for posting bad comments about the employer on facebook. Would you agree with the employer, and why?

I wouldn't worry too much about the presentation (I heard that some interviewers even omit this part), there's usually no right or wrong answer but the interviewer just wants to see how you structure your thoughts as well as the logic you use.
