Agree on the story being the tough part, it is hardest to piece all elements together in a way that brings everything together towards a goal or a point of self-realization.

After working with MBA applicants for nearly a decade, one pattern showed up again and again.

Most applicants spend months trying to improve their GMAT score by 20–30 points.
Very few spend the same amount of time improving the story they're telling.
The strongest applicants weren't always the ones with the highest scores.

They were the ones who could clearly answer three questions:
• Why an MBA?
• Why now?
• Why you?

When those answers were authentic, specific, and connected to a long-term vision, everything else—from essays to interviews—became stronger.

If you're planning to apply this year or next, what's been the hardest part of the application process so far?

I'd love to hear what's keeping you stuck.
