0.1^0+0.1^1+0.1^2+0.1^3=? [#permalink]
\(.1^0\)+\(.1^1\)+\(.1^2\)+\(.1^3\)

= \((\frac{1}{10})^0\) + .1 + .01 + .001
=\(\frac{1}{1}\) + .111 ---- (since \(1^0\) is 1 and \(10^0\) is 1, hence\(\frac{1}{1}\))
= 1.111 ... Answer B.

Recall that x^0 = 1 for any value of x except 0. Let’s simplify the given expression:

0.1^0 + 0.1^1 + 0.1^2 + 0.1^3

1 + 0.1 + 0.01 + 0.001 = 1.111
