Just done with both of my interviews. Both interviewers had a very different professional background. It was definitely not a good/bad cop & junior/senior structure as both of my interviewers were rather senior but really relaxed and friendly. Also, both of them gave me immediate positive feedback. Interviews lasted a bit more than an hour. The questions on which I felt they put strong emphasis are:

- What will you contribute to INSEAD?
- Why did you choose INSEAD over U.S. schools?
- Why don't you try to achieve your goals without MBA?
- How good are you at other languages?

They did not evaluate me on my leadership experience at all.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

I had a very similar experience as Ipjan. Both of my interviewers were really casual and at no point did they try to make me feel uncomfortable. Both interviews lasted over an hour and I felt that questions were mostly focused on my fit and passion with INSEAD –

- why INSEAD? why January start?
- what does an INSEAD MBA mean to you?
- what can you bring to the INSEAD community? (in a non-professional way)
- how is INSEAD going to help you achieve your goals?

I was surprised at how little questions were asked on my professional background/leadership experience. And neither of the interviewers asked for my essays or resume. I blatantly asked for feedbacks after the interviews and they both gave very positive comments. – one of them even said he’d be surprised if I don’t get accepted.

Just be honest with your answers and you should be fine.

Good luck!

Hey guys!

Just came across this thread today.

I finished my interviews by 2 August and am currently waiting to know whether I got admitted - still three more weeks to go!

Like a couple of you guys in the thread, I also got an email about the application of scholarships. It is pretty odd applying for them when you still don't know the status of your application, but c'est la vie.

All the best to everyone who have yet to go for their interviews - just be yourself and RELAX! (though I know it's easier said than done!)

I have also finished both interviews!

Less than 1 month to the final decision!

Fingers crossed for all of us!

i had similar issue, not sure if this is the issue you guys are getting, the scholarship application says session timed out and nothing was saved. What I did, i fill up everything with some random input quickly and save the application, then I start editing each entry with the right input and save from time to time. I managed to finish the application this way. Hope this helps.

No news from my end. It's way too early... deadline day is on September 7th.

Since the waitlist started moving, R2 decisions should start trickling out next week, probably Tuesday onwards, good luck to all!

Can anyone advise on how many Australians have been accepted from R1 (based on the MBAConnect stats)?
