I just saw a South Park episode where Cartman freezes himself to wait for the Wii launch. What a terrific idea, I'll freeze myself until the 15th.

If you scroll back a few pages you'll see everybody's interview recaps. Should be from the first couple weeks of Feb.

I did an off-campus interview in NYC with a recent alum. It was by far the most pleasurable interview experience thus far. As i am sure you will read, Ross is very interested in fit, so being yourself is key. She still hit all the common questions, but it was the most conversational interview that I had.

Good luck!

I second this. I had my interview in mid-February and it was my best, most comfortable interview by far. Blew other "fit" schools like Duke and Kellogg out of the water, in my opinion.

solid south park reference

two thoughts ... one - is anyone else happy that day light savings is this weekend so we avoid an extra hour of waiting (i am)? two - i had a nightmare about being put on the wait list and having this feeling carry over for another handful of months. looking over blog from last year it looks like they put a significant percent of applicants on the wait list. anyone know an accurate number of people on the wait list from R1?

This waiting, i run the clock down by writing papers (yep, in school!) and going to work. I have become a zombie, waiting for March 15. In my moments of clarity, i do calculations...like this one from yesterday:

A = [(F * I) - (B /D) + r*z -m]*(v-y)

Where,
m = temp in AA last week when decisions were made
z = applicants wishing to be consultants
r = marketing applicants invited to interview
v = unknown negative factors
y = luck
A = probability of getting in
F = total applicants
I = total interview invites
B= black belt owners
D = applicants who played chase and volunteered when they were undergrads

Sorry, you won't be accepted without an interview. Not sure if Ross does this, but some schools will put applicants on the wait list without interviewing so that is possible. Then later when they review the waitlist, I'd assume they'd interview you before giving you an acceptance.

Yup. Soon all the people stressing out on these pages can laugh at us as we stress out in the coming months. I've been hearing mixed reviews on final round acceptance chances but I'm hoping for the best. Anyways good luck partner.

watching the blog. Last year Soojin gave an update on the Friday before R2 Decisions (or 1 business day before the start of calls or 4 business days before R2 announcements). Based on that, one could project a new blog post between tomorrow and Tuesday with more information.

So acceptance calls started going 3 days before the date? Is that how it was in round 1 this year as well?

it was 3 days last year, but only because she was in conference on the middle day. round one was the two days before hand (so if it follows form: Wed and Thursday for Calls, results friday at Noon.

Nice attempt to mislead stressed out people.
You need to factor in the Eulers constant to get an accurate analysis!!!
