Based on R1 and previous years, expect to see the first wave of invitations roll out about 3 weeks after the application deadline. Also expect to see an email from Dee shortly after the application deadline to tell everyone what to expect in the coming weeks....HBS is very good in terms of being transparent and predictable with its process, so Dee will let applicants know exactly when invitations will be released.

App submitted for 2+2 ! Good luck everyone :)

@Acoustic1000 - I believe we will get a confirmation email only after the deadline today - but you can see the Submitted status if you login to the application anyway.

Hello everybody!

Best of luck to those who're waitlisted or applying now, and congratulations to those who've gotten in already.

Right, I had a simple query. While submitting GMAT scores, I understand that we aren't required to upload any scanned copy of the unofficial score report we received.

However, I've given the GMAT thrice, and had it reported to HBS everytime. Now, I'm going with the best score of the lot which I'm mentioning in the application. My question is, that in the application, they ask you to enter your score and percentile for a lot of sections. But on my score report (exactly a year old), I can only see the score and percentile for verbal, quant and overall. I see nothing for IR or essay or anything, so do I leave those sections blank in the HBS application?

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, folks.

What a marathon. Finally submitted. It is worth previewing your uploaded documents in the application, I found a hidden typo in my resume and a stylistic error in the essay.

First thing I did was put on a Bond movie and make myself a vat of pasta. Looking forward to some reflectionless days ahead.

I also did not get a confirmation email.

One error in my application was that I could not add additional relatives that have attended HBS. The application never saved the entry. So I submitted under Additional Info. Anyone else have that issue?

Good night and good luck to all

You should have got a link by email a couple of weeks after the GMAT with the instructions to view your full score report ? The IR and AWA score should be on there ? Anyway, if you don't have them I believe you can just put 0.0 and mention the situation quickly in the Additional Info section. HBS will get the official score report anyway.

I also agree. I just read that you're suppose to put in zeros if you don't have the official scores. HBS should have your Official Score and they said they would update your application once the official score is received. IMHO, no need to put in Additional Info section.

Submitted my app few minutes ago, keeping my fingers crossed for luck :)
Good luck to all applicants!

P.S. To International Applicants.
I have noticed in the Application Proof Preview that fields regarding day-to-day English usage (e.g.: Reading, Writing and Speaking)
are only 120 characters instead of 250 as said in the application form itself, so I cut down my explanations.
Hope this helps.

wonder whether anyone has encountered this problem. In the application preview there is one question -

"For non-native English-speaking applicant, in what context are you reading, writing and speaking English?"

however, I don't see this question appearing in my application and therefore cannot answer it. Thanks for your advice!

I didn't see this question either. I guess it comes up only when you submit a TOEFL result. I got my undergraduate degree from an English speaking institution.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a few hours to the deadline. How are we all holding up? If you want to blow off steam or curse out the application stress, you are welcome on board... it will make you feel better...

Just submitted my application but just realized a discrepancy between resume and transcript (number of times I was on dean's list; resume says 4, transcript says 3)

Any suggestions of what I should do?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think this has any material effect on your overall application. I wouldn't worry too much about it!

Just got the confirmation too.
